NOLA Art of Giving Pride Party – SecondLine Arts and Antiques History & Artistry of Gay Carnival Opening – The Presbytere Funds raised by New Orleans Pride help Anti-Bullying and Anti- Discrimination in the school systems, as well as other LGBTQ issues.
Events associated with Pride Festival are meant to unify communities and raise money. It is the only official Pride Festival in New Orleans, the largest in Louisiana, and one of the fastest growing Pride celebrations in the nation. Launched in 2011, New Orleans Pride is a weekend-long celebration taking place in the French Quarter to celebrate and honor LGBTQ communities and its allies in New Orleans and surrounding areas.
